Framer + Shopify + Frameship

A Swiss femtech brand that went from buy links to a four-language Framer store, then doubled sales.

Swiss femtech brand Santelle had three weeks to turn a page of buy links into a full store before its biggest moment yet: joining Galenica's Consultation Plus programme, which puts its test on the shelves of Amavita, Coop Vitality and Sunstore pharmacies, available without a prescription or appointment. The new Framer Shopify store, built with Frameship in four languages, more than doubled revenue in the seven weeks that followed.

Buy buttons, but no store

Co-founder Roxanne Sabbag, a biomedical engineer specialising in women's health, started Santelle after an infection that wasn't caught early enough affected her own health. The company makes an at-home test that checks six vaginal health biomarkers in about ten minutes, with results read in a companion app. The brand was already on Framer and Shopify, but the site only scratched the surface of what a store could do.

"They already used Frameship, but only for buy links: there were no product pages, and every button went straight to checkout." – Camille Haidar, Framer designer

With a launch in Swiss pharmacies set for September 1st, Santelle needed proper product pages, a pharmacy locator and four languages, all within three weeks. Spinning up a separate store for each market would have meant more platforms to manage and more places for prices and content to drift out of sync.

Getting more out of a tool they already had

Santelle didn't need a new platform. It needed to use Frameship properly. Frameship connects Shopify to Framer, so the brand could build full product pages and a real cart on the same Framer site its team already knew.

Frameship is a plugin that connects Shopify to Framer. Once installed, your Shopify products sync directly into Framer CMS. You then design your store pages in Framer as you normally would, dropping in Frameship's pre-built ecommerce components wherever you need them, each one customisable, with the Shopify connection already built in.

One Framer store, four languages, three weeks

After a kickoff call, Santelle's designer rebuilt the site in Framer, with Frameship's product and cart components running the store on the existing Shopify catalog. Each component was dropped into Framer and styled to match the brand, with the Shopify connection already built in.

"Frameship markets give each country its own currency and price, and the site is localised in French, English, German and Italian." – Camille Haidar, Framer designer

The pharmacy locator and the blog run on Framer CMS, so the whole site lives in one place. Products sync from Shopify into Framer CMS, which keeps pricing and stock consistent across every language.

"The site launched at the end of August, a few days before the pharmacy launch." – Camille Haidar, Framer designer

Revenue up 112% in seven weeks

Ready before the pharmacy launch

The full Framer ecommerce store went live days ahead of the September 1st deadline.
