Framer + Shopify + Frameship (Headless)
A Barcelona swimwear label that launched on Framer and Frameship, with 4 in 5 visitors from abroad.
Georgina Zaborowski sketched bikinis for years before she ever made one. Gina Swimwear is the result: a tribute to her mother and grandmother, born between the beaches of Barcelona and Australia, and made for women who want to feel glamorous and completely themselves. It launched with a Framer ecommerce store built on Frameship and run from Shopify, and with no ad spend, four in five visitors now arrive from outside Spain.

A collection that couldn't look like a template
Gina is a premium swimwear label born between the coasts of Spain and Australia. Its founder, Georgina, designed the first collection in Barcelona, made in small batches with Italian fabric, so the brand and the store were built together from scratch. You can follow Georgina's journey building Gina in her behind-the-scenes videos.

"She wanted to run everything from Shopify without the store looking like a standard Shopify theme, so Frameship was the plan from the start." – Camille Haidar, Framer designer
A standard Shopify theme would have made running the business simple, but it would have flattened a brand built on video, colour and a cheeky, laid-back attitude. For a premium label, that's costly. A store that looks like every other template makes a quality bikini harder to justify and buries the story that sets the brand apart. Running a separate website alongside a Shopify store wasn't appealing either, as it meant two platforms to maintain and products drifting out of sync for a one-person brand.

Built on Frameship from day one
Because Gina launched with this site, there was nothing to migrate, and the work split naturally. Georgina focused on the collection itself, setting up products, sizes and bikini sets in Shopify, while Camille focused on the design in Framer. Frameship connects Shopify to Framer, so the two sides came together without either one waiting on the other.
Frameship is a plugin that connects Shopify to Framer. Once installed, your Shopify products sync directly into Framer CMS. You then design your store pages in Framer as you normally would, dropping in Frameship's pre-built ecommerce components wherever you need them, each one customisable, with the Shopify connection already built in.

Video-led pages with Shopify bundles
The site is built in Framer with video throughout, from the homepage hero to the behind-the-scenes content. The shopping experience is made with Frameship components designed to match the brand.
"Frameship handles the catalog, collection filters, size selection, bundles and the cart." – Camille Haidar, Framer designer
The shop uses Frameship's product grid with collection filters for tops, bottoms and one pieces, plus size selectors and a cart on every product page. Each component was dropped into Framer and styled there, with the Shopify connection already built into the component. The Shopify storefront itself is hidden, so customers only ever see the Framer site, and Shopify handles checkout.
"Bikini sets are Shopify bundles sold through Frameship's bundle selector." – Camille Haidar, Framer designer
That setup lets Gina sell a matching set as one product while still tracking tops and bottoms separately in Shopify.
